About Iwona Jędruch

Iwona JędruchIwona Jędruch is a Polish musician, instructor, sound therapist and journalist. She was graduated from the Academy of Music in Gdańsk (Poland), where she studied under the supervision of distinguished professors. She plays unconventional soul music with specific and unique spirit, which is based on her amazing improvization. As well as playing many instruments (gongs, sound bowls, violin etc.)

Jędruch is known for her vocalises. In addition to solo performances she appears in several projects, such as "Two Worlds" with Tadeusz Sudnik (electronic music), "Tuba Gong Duo" with Zdzisław Piernik (tuba), "Trillingen Duo" with Małgorzata Kołcz (contrabass)... During her career, Iwona Jędruch played hundreds of concerts and recorded two albums, as well. She participated in numerous recordings for radio and television, including in theatrical ventures. She also plays during the art exhibitions and other cultural events.

Currently Iwona Jędruch is working on new album for which the cover page and preface has been written and designed by Stanley Devine. The album will be released in January 2012.
